Home Lab

My homelab is made up of three servers, each have their own job. My main server is a Dell PowerEdge R710 running Proxmox, which lets me run and manage different virtual machines and services from one central place. I also have a Dell R210 II running Ubuntu Server, which I use for additional server tasks and hosting. For backups, I use a 2012 Mac Mini as my backup server, giving me another machine to help protect important files and services.

On my homelab, I host several useful services. One of the main things I host is my personal website, this one, which gives me a place online to share information about myself and my interests. I also run my own DNS, which helps me better understand how websites and networks find each other. Along with that, I host Kiwix for offline access to information and Homebridge to connect smart home devices to Apple HomeKit. My homelab is a hands-on way for me to learn about servers, networking, virtualization, backups, and self-hosting.
